Clear terms for using Answer One online
Paid client work is governed by its own written proposal or agreement. These terms cover only the public website, free tools and enquiries.
Agreement and scope
By using answerone.com.au you agree to these terms. They govern the public website, free online tools and enquiry functions. They do not govern paid client services, which are covered by a separate written proposal or agreement.
Acceptable use
You must use the website lawfully and must not:
- interfere with the website, its security or another person's use;
- submit malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
- circumvent rate limits or abuse free tools through automated bulk requests; or
- use the website or its output to infringe another person's rights.
Free AI visibility audit
You may submit a public website that you own, manage or are otherwise authorised to assess. The audit uses public website, search and AI-generated information to create a current snapshot.
Search results, model outputs, citations and volumes change over time and by location. The audit is directional, may be incomplete and is not a permanent ranking or guarantee of future visibility.
Information, not advice
Website content and free tool outputs are general information. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice. You should consider your own circumstances before acting. Answer One does not guarantee rankings, traffic, recommendations, leads, revenue or any other commercial result.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Answer One owns or licenses the website design, copy, brand assets, software and original reports. You may view and use them for ordinary internal business purposes, but must not reproduce, resell or commercially exploit them without permission.
You retain rights in information you submit. You grant Answer One the limited permission needed to process that information and the submitted public website to provide the requested function.
Third-party services and links
The website relies on third-party hosting, search, AI, email and security services and may link to external websites. Those services have their own terms and practices. Answer One does not control their availability, content or changes.
Enquiries and paid services
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or require either party to proceed. Any paid engagement begins only when the relevant parties accept a separate written proposal or agreement setting out scope, fees and service terms.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw website content or a free tool without notice. We may also update these terms. The version published on this page applies from its stated update date.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, Answer One is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website content or free tool output, website unavailability, or inaccurate or changing third-party information.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled through the website, enquiries and free tools.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and Australia. Questions can be sent to hello@answerone.com.au.
